Cost of Traffic Crashes to Employers

Work-related traffic crashes continue to be the leading cause of death for employees in the U.S. workforce. Deaths and injuries from these crashes result in increased costs to employers and lost productivity. They bring needless pain and suffering to family, friends, and co-workers. Do you know your risk?

NETS 10-Step System

The 10-Step program provides guidance to both public and private sector organizations in developing, establishing or improving traffic safety programs for their employees. The guidelines are intended as a basis for developing an organization-specific plan.

Who's Driving?: A Distracted Driving Training Program

Driver distraction is a contributing factor in 25-50% of all crashes, causing an estimated 4,000 to 8,000 traffic crashes each day. Employers must implement a proactive training program to enable employees to identify potential distractions while driving and develop techniques and strategies to better manage and minimize these distractions. Who's Driving? reinforces the need for employees to making driving their number one responsibility when behind the wheel.

Seat BeltAmerica: An Employer Buckle-up Initiative

Employers have a crucial role to play in increasing seat belt use and safeguarding their employees - their most vital asset. Seat belts are the most valuable safety device in a motor vehicle and the most effective means of reducing injuries and fatalities in a crash. They are the best defense against the risky driving drivers on our roadways.

Asleep at the Wheel? A Wake-Up Call for Fatigued Drivers

Being overextended at trying to "do it all" and "have it all," often means operating on less than the optimal amount of sleep. Help your employees to avoid driving fatigued by incorporating fatigue management into your safety programs.
